Purpose of the Job: 

To assist in preparing instructional materials, conducting lectures, supervising and evaluating students’ academic programmes. 

Person Specification: 

• Should have a master’s in clinical science, specifically Paediatrics or Mental Health, from a recognized institution. Additional qualification in Public Health is an added advantage. 
• Should have a Bachelor of Nursing Sciences from a recognized institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.8. 
• A Diploma in Nursing Science or Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized institution. 
• Must have evidence of registration with the Uganda Nursing and Midwifery Council at the time of application. 
• Should have proven academic ability in research, publication, and teaching. 
• Should be computer literate. 
• Should have a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience at a recognized academic institution of higher learning. 
• Should have at least two (2) scholarly publications in the area of specialization.
